Teacher
Formerly a high school English teacher, Naida engages students on the subject of Lean healthcare. She teaches the introductory course, reVIEW © (an acronym for Realizing Exceptional Value in Everyday Work), under the auspices of both Lean Healthcare West (www.leanhealthcarewest.com) and Healthcare Performance Partners (www.leanhealthcareperformance.com). She also coaches teams and individuals in problem-solving at the point of care.
Naida also works with the nonprofit organization, Global Links (www.globallinks.org), as it teaches Lean in third world countries. The Pittsburgh Way to Efficient Healthcare will soon be translated into Spanish for use in Central America.
